Obituary

Bobby Ray Johnson, the son of Mr. Willie James Johnson, Sr. and Mrs. Willie Belle Johnson, was born on September 25, 1964. He was the fourth and the smallest child. He was born with leukemia; but he beat all the odds.

Bobby attended Mendenhall High School where he played football and graduated as an outstanding athlete. He continued his dream of playing football at CoLin Community College where they were state champs. After Colin, he played with Alabama A&M University.

Bobby returned home after college and worked with his father at Martin's Saw Mill. Later, he started working at R Squared Puckett, Inc. He worked at R Squared for 20 years until his health begin to fail.

Bobby's smile was as beautiful as he was.

Bobby was preceded in death by his dad, Willie James Johnson, Sr.; his mom, Willie Belle Keys Johnson; brothers, Robert Earl Keys and Clevon Johnson; and brother-in-law, Curtis Jackson.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memory: his sister, Dorothy Jackson; brothers, Willie James (Mattie) Johnson, Jr., Otis Johnson and David Johnson; a special aunt, Lucille Berry; aunts, Amanda Rhodes and Irene McAfee; friend, Doretha Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and cousins who shared a special part of him.
