Summation of Life

On January 5, 2020 a limb felled from our family tree.

Bobby attained his Eternal Bliss, touched by an Angel and walked where Angels tread into a place of pure delight.

Bobby was born to the late, Nelvis and Jerlene Griffith Rankin on September 18, 1956 in Simpson County, MS.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; baby sister: Nellene Rankin; grandparents: Kingdom Griffith, Cordis and Janie Rankin.

Bobby was baptized at Zion Hill Baptist Church at an early age. He graduated from Magee High School in 1974, where he was a true Trojans fan.
On February 15, 1975 he joined in Holy Matrimony with Minnie Flowers, to this union two children were born Maurice and Amanda. Later he became a member of Friendship M. B. Church, Collins, MS.

Bobby then moved back to Magee, MS where he was very concerned about the issues of his community. After sharing his views with the town newspaper, they gave him a corner in the Magee Courier to post his views from the community. Bobby enjoyed sharing his views and concerns with everyone he met.
