Funeral Program - Bonnie Jean McCullum

Bonnie Jean Dampeer McCullum was born on January 13, 1942, to Webb and Bertha Dampeer, and peacefully entered eternal rest on December 22, 2025.

The youngest daughter of her parents, Bonnie proudly called herself "the last of the Mohicans." She lived life out loud—speaking her mind, loving deeply, laughing freely, and trusting God completely. Her joyful spirit and bold presence could light up any room.

Bonnie had a special gift for connecting generations, always making time for a phone call, a visit, or a ride around town. She loved taking pictures and seeing photos of her family's adventures, finding joy in staying connected to the lives she loved. Her unmistakable laugh will forever be remembered.

At an early age, Bonnie gave her life to Christ and remained faithful throughout her life. She was a devoted member of Greater Dry Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, where she worshiped and trusted in God's promises.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who lovingly helped Bonnie with doctor's appointments, errands, nail days, and her many outings around town. A special thank you to Charlene Durr and Vickie Burton for their exceptional care and devotion. To her brother Kitty and sister-in-law Marilyn, who was always there, patient, loving, and dependable with a smile, quick wit, and constant love whom Bonnie held in the highest regard, your dedication is remembered and appreciated more than you'll ever know.

Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice knowing Bonnie is reunited with her parents, Webb and Bertha Dampeer, and all her siblings. Bonnie leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Jessica (Milton) Durr; her grandson and pride and joy, Jayton Jones; her special designated brother, Kitty (Marilyn) Dampeer; and her best friends Margie Vanish, Betty Thornton, and Ruby Dampeer; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

She lived well, laughed often, loved deeply, and if heaven needed a little more joy, Bonnie surely delivered it.
