On March 26, 1943, which was a beautiful, bright Spring morning, God brought into existence our beloved mother, Clara Nell Durr to Clarence and Lola Wilson Durr of Simpson County, Mississippi.

Clara was the oldest of ten children born to Clarence and Lola. At an early age, she was taught by her parents the importance of love and caring for others. Clara was a wonderful aide to her parents by helping in the care and rearing of her brothers and sisters throughout her lifetime.
