Mr. Clifton Lee Mason was born August 8, 1942.

He was the oldest son of Jerline Jaynes Fair. He was raised by Jesse & Ruby Simmons. They gave him all the love they could.

He graduated from Harper High School in 1961. While attending school, he played Defensive Back for the football team, Point Guard for the basketball team, and was known as one of Harper High School's well-dressed students.

He loved music, dancing, and playing cards. His favorite musical group was the Temptations. He would sing and lead their songs at different school functions.

He is preceded in death by: his mother, Jerline Fair; stepfather, Willie D. Fair; his adopted parents, Jesse & Ruby Simmons; his sister, Jewelene Potter, and brother, Billy Fair.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two brothers, J.W. (Shirley) Fair and Willie (Sherron) Fair, two sisters, Jean (Earl) Perkins and Shirley Banks; one sister-in-law, Dona Fair; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, Harper High School Family, Mendenhall Community Family, and the Harper Village Family.
