Sister Diane Smith was born April 12, 1961 to the late G. W. and Jewel Smith, both of whom preceded her in death.  Diane transitioned from this earthly world and was called to her Heavenly home at 11:23AM, Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Sister Diane joined New Zion M. B. Church at an early age confirming her faith and trust in Jesus Christ, accepting Him as the center and leader in her life, guiding her along the way.

Sister Diane leaves to cherish her memories with three children-Anthony (Vanquiece) Smith of Arizona, Gary Smith of Pinola, MS, and Phyliss Smith, also of Pinola, MS; four grandsons, five granddaughters; one brother, Johnny (Joanne) Smith of Terry, MS; one sister, Gloria Kendrick of Chicago, IL.  One sister and five brothers preceded Diane in death.  Joining the family in cherishing memories of Diane is a host of relatives and friends.
