Dorian Samuel Flowers was born on November 12, 1998, to Medeia Barber-Simmons in Jackson, Mississippi.

Dorian attended Mendenhall Elementary School. He graduated from Magee High School in 2020.

Dorian brought joy into the lives of the people who met him. He had a smile that would brighten any room. Dorian was reared by his grandmother/mother, Eddie Rollins-McCalpin and his grandfather/father, Austin McCalpin (deceased 2001).

Dorian, along with his cherished smile, leaves behind to honor his memory: his maternal grandmother, Author Lee Hawkins; his biological mother, Medeia Barber-Simmons; two sisters and three brothers; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and many who just loved him.

Dorian, the angel that lived here on earth, has now gone home.
