Henry Hayes, Jr. was born February 2, 1954, to the late Henry Hays, Sr. and Bashaba Hayes. He was called to eternal rest on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

Henry Hayes, Jr. joined the United States Air Force after graduating from Mendenhall High School.

Henry is preceded in death by his father, Henry Hayes, Sr.; his nephew, Earl Floyd and his special friend, Margaret Cannon.

Henry leaves to cherish his memories: his loving mother, Bashaba Hayes of Mendenhall, Mississippi; four sisters, Florasteen (James) Floyd, Frankie (Harold) Delancey, Willie (Bennett) Hendrick, and Syneda Hayes, all of Mendenhall, Mississippi; two brothers, Terry R. Hayes of Mendenhall, Mississippi and Larry D. (Kim) Hayes of Magee, Mississippi; nieces, Kimberly Floyd, Keianee Holloway, Talia Holloway and Tia Dewona Hayes; nephews, Patrick Hayes, Lance Hayes, Marcus Floyd, Demarrian Holloway and Brennan Gregory; and a host of grand nieces, grand nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
