Obituary

Herman Page was born December 25, 1945, to Lou Ann and Verman Page.

Herman was known as one of a kind. If the job needed to be done and it seemed impossible, he would gladly take on the task. He had a passion for work especially heavy equipment. For many years, he worked on railroads, Currie's Construction, Crocodile Currie and with Smith County.

Herman was very outspoken and possessed a very big heart for his family and friends. He departed this life on August 15, 2022, at South Central Hospital in Laurel, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lou Ann and Verman Page; and his beloved son, Sherman Page.

Herman leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving wife, Jerlean Page; his beautiful daughter that would be me, Tara Sims (Alton); his special baby girl, Emmie; four wonderful grandchildren, Shermain (Lauren), Shatara, Jordan, and Shemar; one blessed, great grandson, Jaxon; and a special nephew, Chris. He also leaves behind three sisters, Pandy, Emma Lou and Sara Ann; one brother, Maxie; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He cherished all his family and friends.
