Mrs. Jacqueline Showers Mitchell was born on November 21, 1963, to the late Mr. Emmitt Burrell and Mrs. Ida Mae Burrell.

Jacqueline departed this life on August 13, 2020, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Ms. Priscilla Burrell and Mrs. Vicky Donald.

She joined the Shiloh M.B. Church at an early age where she was a faithful member until her health started to fail.

She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Carl Mitchell on September 27, 2016. She worked in different capacities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), cook, and domestic worker.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted husband, Carl Mitchell; one daughter, Tameka Burrell; two brothers, Emmitt Burrell, Jr. (Antoinette) and Keith Burrell ( Datella ), all of Mendenhall, Mississippi; and a special uncle, Clyde Hamilton and sister-in-law, Brenda Berry (Benny), both of D'Lo, Mississippi; a loving mother-in-law, Dorothy Mitchell of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; seven and half grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
