JOEANN CAFFIE

Joeann Caffie was born in New Hebron, Mississippi to the late Jody and Rosie May Taylor. She attended New Hymn High School where she graduated. Later, she attended West Coast Nursing Academy in Northern California where she received her nursing degree. Joeann was a faithful member of Taylor Hill M.B. Church where she served on the Kitchen Committee and cleaned the church for many years until her health failed but she still attended as often as she could.

Joeann was preceded in death by her parents, Jody and Rosie Mae Taylor; four sisters: Florence, Bernice, Earnestine, and Valarie; two brothers, Elroy and Lil Joe; three granddaughters; and one grandson, Victor.

Joeann leaves to cherish eight (8) children: Cassie Hoskins (Rickie), San Diego, California, Clestine Caffie, Archie Caffie (Earnestine), all of Brookhaven, Mississippi; Stan Caffie, New Hebron, Mississippi, Earnest Caffie (Mia), Killeen, Texas, Penny, Pallavi Norwood (Rev. Alexander), Sheric Caffie, all of New Hebron, Mississippi; two brothers-in-law, Robert Alford, New Hebron, Mississippi and Roy Caffie, Chicago, Illinois; 30 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will be greatly missed.
