John Samuel Hayes

John Samuel "Sam" Hayes  was born April 3, 1961, to Joe V. and Annie Hayes in Jackson, Mississippi. He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and attended the Church of God in Jackson, Mississippi, in his younger years. He transitioned from his earthly body to his spiritual host on August 1, 2023, at his home in Mendenhall, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe V. and Annie Hayes.

Sam leaves to cherish his memory: a daughter, LaChrista and grandchildren; four siblings, Rev. Joe (Mary) Hayes of Theodore, Alabama, Joyce Ann (Doye) Langston of Magee, Mississippi, Estes and Vernon Hayes both of Jackson, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends that cared for him dearly.
