KeShawn DeMonte' Carter was born on February 2, 1992, in Jackson, Mississippi to Debra Johnson and Oscar Carter. He attended Bolton-Edwards Elementary School and West Memphis High School. KeShawn was loved by everyone who truly knew him. He was known for his loving smile, silly jokes, and "Future" looking resemblance. KeShawn was always the life of the party. He loved to make sure those around him were happy and enjoying their selves. There was never a dull moment when he was around.

KeShawn DeMonte' Carter departed this life on May 28, 2021, at the early age of 29. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Phyllis Gibson and grandfathers, Oscar Carter Sr. and Hosey Wilkins.

KeShawn DeMonte' Carter is survived by his mother, Debra (Delmar) Johnson of Edwards, Mississippi; father, Oscar (Dianne)Carter of Byram, Mississippi; sister, Danita Barnett of Edwards, Mississippi; grandmother, Willie (Jimmy Rozell) Wilkins of Edwards, Mississippi; uncles, Jamie Carter, Jimmy (Fefe) Barnett, and Marcus (Toronda) Barnett; aunts, Ethel (Babe Richards) Barnett, Juanita Barnett, Kimberly (Dre) Jackson, Louise Jones, and Tammy Barnett; his best friend, Travis Anderson of Chicago, Illinois; a special family friend, Mrs. Maria Sims and a host of other relatives and friends.
