Kevin Darrel Norwood

Mr. Kevin D. Norwood was born on May 25, 1962, to the late Mr. Charlie Norwood, Sr. and Mrs. Colie Mae Norwood in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

Kevin joined Taylor Hill Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. Kevin received his formal education in Simpson County Public Schools. He graduated from Mendenhall High School in 1980. He worked for BC Rogers for 15 years, and as a Direct Care Worker at Bedford Care for 16 years located in Mendenhall, Mississippi. He was well known in his community and beloved by his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving companion, Ms. Linda "Faye" Magee; two sons, Justin Norwood and Ryan Norwood; daughter, Kaela Paige (Barry) of Beaufort, South Carolina; his loving mother, Mrs. Colie Mae Norwood of Mendenhall, Mississippi; his brothers and sisters, Mr. Charlie Norwood, Jr. (Laster), Mendenhall, Mississippi, Evangelist Joann Norwood Loper, Bessemer, Alabama, Mr. Jerry Norwood, Kansas City, Kansas, Mrs. Linda J. Norwood Smith (W.C.), Magee, Mississippi, Mrs. Patsy Hayes (the late Lorenzo Hayes), Mendenhall, Mississippi, and Minister Donnie Norwood, Sr. (Hazel), Magee, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Braden Paige and Bryson Paige of Beaufort, South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Charlie Norwood, Sr. and his sister, Charlie Ann Norwood.
