Mr. Lemar "Joe" Berry

March 13, 1953 – November 1, 2020

Lemar was born on March 13, 1953, to Mozella Berry-Walker and the late M.L. Berry. He departed this life on November 1, 2020 at Merit Health Hospital, Jackson, Mississippi.

Lemar loved his family.

Lemar leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Mozella Berry-Walker; six sisters, Vertis Rankin, Christal (Lee) Williams, Toni-Gail Burkett, Linda Perkins, all of Mendenhall, Mississippi, Etta Berry-Smith of Byram, Mississippi, and Maxine Robinson of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Tommy Berry and David Berry, both of Mendenhall, Mississippi; one aunt, Katherleen Drones; a special friend, Michael "Black Mike" Toston of Mendenhall, Mississippi; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, M.L. Berry and his brother, Lyndell "Ace" Berry, Sr.
