Leotha Nobles, 89 years old, was born September 16, 1931, to the late Leroy Hamilton and Mattie Hamilton. Leotha was the first of three children born to this union. She passed away on December 16, 2020, at her residence.

Leotha joined Shiloh M.B. Church and also attended school in D'Lo, Mississippi.

Leotha married Luther Nobles and was the mother of six children.  She was a housewife throughout their union. She worked as a beautician, seamstress, baker, babysitter and housekeeper for the community.

Leotha leaves to cherish her loving memories: her daughters, Dorine N. Boykins (Dallas, Texas) and Carolyn N. Doby (Mt. Olive, Mississippi); her son, Stanley Nobles (D'Lo, Mississippi); her sister, Gussie Maloan (Detroit, Michigan); her brothers, Michael and Bobbie Hamilton (both of D'Lo, Mississippi); and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Leotha was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Hamilton; her mother, Mattie H. Burton; her brother, Robert Hamilton; and her children, L.D. Gates, Mattie Walker and Lowery Nobles.
