Loree King Caraway was born on February 14, 1923, in Weatherby, Mississippi to Ella James Weatherby and Frank King. God reclaimed his angel on April 9, 2023, surrounded by family.

Loree was married to Archie Vol Caraway. She had one daughter, Deloria Hays Hall She had three brothers: Charlie King, Robert King, and Vernon King. Three sisters: Willie Bell Malloy, Cora Mae McGee, and Rachel Womack, 6 stepchildren all of whom proceeded her in death.

After the passing of her daughter, she began raising her three grandchildren, Shanda Hall, Shaquita Hall, and Charles Hall Jr (Monika). She has 11 great-grandchildren, Cody Hall, LaDarius Hall, LeKetrick Hall, Larenta Hall, Ricky Hall, Marckell Newsome, Kandis Hall, Tariq Dampeer, Kyra Hall, and Tenessence Henderson, twelve great-great children. She also leaves behind 6 stepchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who loved her dearly

Throughout her life, she worked for various healthcare organizations. After leaving the healthcare industry she began working at the Thrift Store for Mendenhall Ministries where she loved engaging with the customers. She was a faithful and the oldest member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church until her health declined.
