Louise
Mcgruder
Nov 25, 1949 — Mar 21, 2023
Braxton
Louise "Teddy" McGruder
Louise was born on November 25, 1949, in New Hebron, Mississippi, to Vergie Little and Johnny McGruder. She was the first born of their nine children.
She accepted Christ at an early age. She worked at Sanderson Farms for 20 years until she retired. Louise was loving, hilarious, courageous, outspoken and just a strong personality. She was known for giving it to you straight with no filter and she was respected for her honesty. Louise enjoyed doing word search and crossword puzzles, watching her game shows, and playing cards while spending time with her family and friends.
Louise was preceded in death by her mother, Vergie Little and father, Johnny McGruder; brother, Johnny (Jimbo) McGruder; sister, Jessie Mae (Mickey) Newsome; and son, Don McGruder.
Louise leaves to cherish her loving memories: five children, Larry McGruder (Letha), Billy McGruder (Heather), Denise Nash (Wayne), Ricky McGruder, and Hellon McGruder-Redmond (Talley); siblings, Vergie Anderson-Austin (John), Pete McGruder (Ossie), Pallie Collins (Lonnie), Bernice Morris (Charles), Barbara Ann Holliday (Warren), Joe Little (Michelle), Peggie Ann Little, and Bessie Little; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
