Luke Wayne Magee's Journey

A Time to Be Born:

Luke Wayne was born on March 29, 1956, to loving parents, Elvon and Lennie Magee who touched down in heaven before Luke. Also arriving in heaven before Luke, was a loving sister, Joyce; brother, Larry; grandparents, Myra Brown, Ruben "Rube" Magee, Gertrude Durr, and James McNair.

A Time to Learn, Serve and Work:

Luke received his education at Mount Olive High School and Job Corps and continued his training and service in the US Army and National Guard for over 20 years. Luke was also a part of the workforce for years. He served his time on earth well.

A Time to Say Farewell:

Luke leaves to carry on all of his smiles and jokes a wife, Mrs. Luke (Janis); sisters, June (BD) and Brenda; brothers, Perry (Doris), Michael (Jewel), and Omar; sister-in-law, Patsy Magee; brother-in-law, Richard Green; blended children, Mona, Carlos ( Jamaka ), Alicia, Chris, Quenton and Dewayne; grandchildren, whom he loved dearly; nieces, nephews; aunts, Rebecca McNair, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Lenora Jones, DeLoyce Easterling, Emma Jean Magee, Magdalene Lockhart, Bobbie Feazell, Barbara Lockhart, and Darlene Lockhart, all of Collins, Mississippi; and uncle, Roy Lee Lockhart of Collins, Mississippi.

If you knew Luke Wayne, you know within your hearts, he will live forever. You will always remember his smile and one of his crazy jokes.
