MarKeshia was born January 6, 1975, in Jackson, Mississippi, to Annie Stapleton and Marvin L. Stapleton. Keshia answered God's call and departed this life on January 17, 2024, at Merit Hospital in Brandon, Mississippi. The Lord saw that she was tired and He sent an Angel to her beside.

Keshia was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Mangum; a son, Marvin Andrew Mangum; her father, Marvin L. Stapleton; her maternal grandparents, W.D. and Clara Overby; her paternal grandmother, Argie Stapleton; and her mother and father-in-law, Kenneth and Glennie Mangum.

Keshia was a 1994 graduate of Mendenhall High School. She joined Rock Pisgah at an early age. She was member of the choir. She loved to sing.

Keshia leaves to cherish her memories: a loving mother, Annie C. Stapleton of Mendenhall, Mississippi; one brother, S. Charles Overby of Washington, D.C.; one sister, Anna Stapleton of Mendenhall, Mississippi; two nieces, Alaya Drummond and Alonna Brown; two nephews, Jeremy and Jayden Stapleton, all of Mendenhall, Mississippi; two step-daughters, Deneshia Alford and Chrishana Williams, both of Mendenhall, Mississippi; one brother-in-law, Jeff Mangum and one sister-in-law, Tomeka (Sean) Jones, both of South Carolina; three god children, Andretti Camper, II and DreNique Camper, both of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Jalen Flowers of Jackson, Mississippi; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
