Mary During (Walker) passed September 7, 2018.  She was born Mary Ella Walker, June 24, 1945 to Frank and Tommiezine (Weathersby) Walker, in Mendenhall, MS.

Mary moved to Chicago as a young child, where she grew up and had her own family.  She relocated to Southern California in 1997.

Mary was a very loving and kind person.  She loved to shop, travel and decorated.  She enjoyed helping people, especially in the ministry.  Next to the ministry, her most favorite thing to do was spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents.  Frank and Tommiezine, and Siblings:  Faye, Tommiedale, Evelyn, Carl, Hilburn, Frank Jr., Robert Glenn, Thomas George and Charles.

Mary is survived by her daughter:  LaDonna (Stephen) Palmer, Theo/Len (Michelle) Bledsoe, Olatoke (Angie) Makinde as well as her extended son and daughters:  Wanda (Jenny) Makinde, Lande Makinde, Simi Makinde, Fisayo (Isaac) Perez, Shelby Riggs.  Grandchildren:  Autumn, Audrey, Erin and Isaiah Bledsoe, Mekhi and Oladayo Makinde, Ian (Jaclynne) Langley, Iya Perez, Emma, Jason and Devin Riggs ad Great Grandchildren Jaylen, Lyla and Taylor Langley.

She is also survived by her sisters:  Pearline Mathis, Lillie B. Dampeer and her brother:  Timothy (Gilda) Walker as well as her sister in law:  Claudia Huerth.

There are also host of family members and friends.

Mary will truly be missed!!!
