Otis Jr. Dinkins

A Time to be Born

Otis Jr. Dinkins was born to Otis and Virginia Dinkins on April 13, 1944.

A Time to Live

Otis Jr. Dinkins was a very loving and fun person to be around. He touched all hearts that came his way whether sad, stressed or just in need of calming. Otis retired from Georgia Pacific where he made another home for 30 plus years.

He enjoyed his family. Every day he would get up no matter the time or weather to make sure his loved ones were ok. He loved spending time at home working on his toys or helping in the yard to clean and keep it looking good. He helped his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with whatever was needed. His passing is a very hard pill to swallow but our family knows God makes no mistakes.

Otis accepted Christ and was baptized at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in October 2016 under the pastorate of Reverend Willie Barber.

A Time to Go Home

Otis began his new life when the Lord called him home on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, Mississippi.
