Paul B. Higgins was born August 3, 1939, to Hines and Sarah Higgins in Simpson County, Mississippi. He was married to Hazel Smith Higgins for over 60 years.  They resided in the Everett community where they were blessed with four (4) children, five (5) grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Mr. Higgins was a retired roofer and avid hunter and fisherman with a passion for the outdoors and wildlife. He enjoyed fishing with his family and friends.

Mr. Higgins was a faithful member of Everett Baptist Church for many years. He loved his church, his family and will be greatly missed by his community.

Mr. Higgins is survived by his wife, Hazel; four children, Judy Welch, Doug Higgins, Carolyn Kelly, and Donna Gibson; five grandchildren, Charles Welch (Cindy), Stephanie Williamson (Brice), Candace Welch, Kaleb Welch, and Amber  Westbrook (Adam); and 12 great grandchildren, Colby Mullins, Cameron Welch, Carson Welch, Caden Welch,  Cailey Welch, Breanna Williamson, Tristan Williamson, Keaton Williamson, Riley Welch, Kaylan Welch, Lauran Welch, Aerin Westbrook.
