Mr. Ray Adams was born on May 16, 1945, and departed this life on February 2, 2021.  He was the last child born to R.T. Adams and Estella Turnage Adams, who preceded him in death.  Ray was a member of the Class of 1965 and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the school yearbook at Harper Vocational High School, Mendenhall, Mississippi.  After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Army in November 1965 and was honorably discharged in November 1967 after serving his country in the Vietnam War.  He returned to Mendenhall and worked at Cal-Maine Foods and Broadhead Building Supplies.

Ray was preceded in death by his brothers: R.T. Adams, T.J. Adams, John Adams; and one (1) sister, Estella Adams Robertson.  He leaves to cherish his memory two (2) brothers, Oliver (Jenny) Adams of Jackson, Mississippi and Billy G. Adams of Mendenhall, Mississippi; and a host of other relatives.
