Robert Lee Gray, Jr. , affectionately known to family and friends as "Jr." , was born on April 1, 1966, to the late Johnny Vee Hubbard and Robert Lee Gray, Sr. He was the youngest of six children.

Jr. was the proud father of one son, James Gray, who preceded him in death at the tender age of three.

Throughout his life, Jr. was known as a true jack of all trades. He was skilled with his hands, resourceful, and had a natural ability to figure things out and take on many different kinds of work and projects. He especially enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.

Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Vee Hubbard and Robert Lee Gray, Sr.; his son, James Gray; his brothers, Lee Oscar Hubbard and Ralph Hubbard; and his sister, Margaret Ashford.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Robert Hubbard of Mendenhall, Mississippi, and Johnie Earl Ashford of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his special niece, Natoria Sallet of Wesley Chapel, Florida; and his special friends, Pastor Artis Fletcher, Michael Adams, and Thomas Adams of Mendenhall, Mississippi; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Those who knew Jr. will remember his unique personality, his resourcefulness, and the many memories created throughout his life. His journey was uniquely his own, and through every season, he remained true to himself.

As his family says goodbye, they choose to remember him with love, compassion, grace, and gratitude for the time they shared.

Jr. will be deeply missed.
