Robert "Pedro" Walker's journey began on October 24, 1949, to the late Revera Walker in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

At an early age, Pedro joined Greater Dry Ridge M.B. church under the leadership of Pastor D.B. Barnes. Pedro was a dedicated member of Sunday School and Church for many years. Pedro had a very special love for his church family.

Pedro had a good work ethic. He started his career in the 70's at Bobby Mikel's Stop and Shop. Pedro then went on to work at Jones Handi Stop, Broocks Express and Tony's One Stop—all located at the Hwy 13 & 28 crossing in Mendenhall. While working, he met many people with whom he left a lasting impression. To know Pedro, was to love him. He never met a stranger. If there was a lesson to learn from Pedro,  it was to always be kind to one another.

Pedro leaves to cherish his memories: one brother, Levester Walker (Mendenhall, Mississippi); and many cousins who he grew up with as sisters and brothers; and one special cousin, Tammy Collins, who made sure he was taken care of. He loved his family and made sure he expressed it. Pedro also leaves a host of friends and his church family. His enthusiasm will be greatly missed.
