Willie E. Magee, IV Funeral Program
Our Willie Evan Magee, IV affectionately known as "Will" departed this earthly home on January 29, 2025. He was the baby of the bunch born to his proud parents; Cindy Seward and Willie Magee, III on October 12, 2000, at 3:30 P. M. in Magee, MS. Will was the second baby born in the newly opened Labor and Delivery Unit in Magee General Hospital. He weighed six pounds, six ounces and nineteen inches long.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Theodore Lawrence Seward, of Wildwood, FL and paternal grandmother, Mae Ruth Magee of Magee, MS.
At an early age, Will accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Sunlight Baptist Church in Laurel, MS.
Will was a 2019 graduate of Cordova High School in Cordova, TN. He attended William R. Moore College in Memphis, TN and received his certification in plumbing. He later obtained his Commercial Driving License to begin his career as a Professional Truck Driver. Because of this profession, Will was able to see the world up close and personal and established professional relationships throughout the country!
Will was a very distinguished young man with the inherited handsome appearance of his parents. His well-defined lips like his mom and captivating eyes like his dad have always been an instant compliment getter! Will had an infectious smile that mirrored his dad's smile! Will was intelligent, adventurous and talented. He was also kind, compassionate, funny and charming. Will was quite the sportsman in elementary and junior high playing in the sports of baseball, basketball and football! He also played in a private football league outside of school. Will was the life of the "cousin" circle and there was never a dull moment when he entered the room. With his endless questions and constant "what if's" conversations could continue for hours and hours and hours. He enjoyed the movies, miniature golf, Dave and Busters, Autobahn games, bumper cars and spending time with his family. Will was well loved by all that was fortunate enough to really get to know him.
In April of 2022, Will and his high school sweetheart, Autoria Strong, welcomed their son, Amir Magee. Amir is a replica of his dad with his unique mannerisms and handsome facial features that will be seen for generations to come.
Will leaves to cherish his memories his son: Amir Magee, Virginia Beach, VA; mother: Cindy Seward, Cordova, TN; father: Willie Magee, III, Magee, MS; sister: Heather Seward, Cordova, TN; brother: Matthew Seward, Houston, TX; grandmother: Lola Mae Seward, Laurel, MS; grandfather: Willie Magee, Jr., Mendenhall, MS; niece: Madelyn Seward; nephew: Chase Seward both of Cordova, TN; aunts: Daphne Moore, Magee, MS; Vanessa (David) Hall, Jackson, MS; uncles: Theodore (Sheretta) Seward, Laurel, MS; Christopher (Selena) Magee, Magee, MS; Dante Durr, Petal, MS; first cousins: Theodore Seward, Aiden Seward, Bailey Seward, Donyelle Magee, Carmen (Terrence) Lynch, Unique Cooper, Rakeiran (Mya) Easterling, Semya Magee, Kristasia Magee, Myla Magee and Lauren Fairley; and great aunts and uncles, cousins, family and friends.
